The climate crisis and biodiversity loss are not separate challenges; they are two sides of the same coin.
The climate crisis and biodiversity loss are not separate challenges; they are two sides of the same coin. For us, Conservation is frontline climate action. Healthy, intact ecosystems are our planet’s most sophisticated and cost-effective technology for regulating the climate.
Nature as a Climate Shield: Forests, peatlands, grasslands, and oceans are colossal carbon sinks, absorbing and storing atmospheric CO₂. By protecting these ecosystems from deforestation and degradation, we prevent the release of stored carbon, a critical, immediate mitigation strategy. Simultaneously, these living systems are our best defence against climate impacts. Mangroves buffer storm surges, healthy soils retain water during droughts, and intact forests regulate local rainfall and temperatures.
Our Integrated Approach: We reject soloed solutions. Our conservation work, protecting wildlife, restoring native habitats, and managing invasive species, is explicitly designed to enhance ecological resilience. A diverse, thriving ecosystem can better withstand and recover from climate shocks like wildfires, floods, and pests. Furthermore, by empowering communities as stewards of their natural heritage, we ensure solutions are sustainable and just. This means creating nature-based livelihoods, such as sustainable agroforestry or ecotourism that provide economic incentives to protect the environment.
Our Project Focus: Action on the Ground
Our commitment to Environmental Protection and Climate Action is realised through targeted, community-powered projects. We focus on five interconnected areas that deliver science-based conservation and build tangible climate resilience:

This integrated portfolio ensures that every initiative protects biodiversity, strengthens community resilience, and mitigates climate change, creating a sustainable future where both people and the planet thrive. In essence, we champion a vision where conserving nature is not a distraction from the climate fight, but its very foundation. By healing our planet’s ecosystems, we directly stabilise our climate and build a resilient future for all life.

“Our name, PEACE, reflects our core belief that true and lasting peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but the presence of harmony; harmony between people and the planet that sustains them. We envision a world where thriving ecosystems are the foundation for prosperous and resilient communities,” JP. John
